Teacher Collections
Need a collection of books for your classroom? With the help of a librarian, select specific and useful resources for your teaching needs and learning environment. You may also contact a librarian by phone (740)965-3901 or email rachel@yourcl.org to request a resource collection or get help researching a subject.
IT’S EASY & CONVENIENT!
To request a collection, simply email us at youthservices@yourcl.org. Provide what you’re looking for, the quantity, and the date the items are needed.
Collection Guidelines
- A resource collection may be requested by teachers, student teachers, child care providers, home educators, and religious educators.*
- A collection should be requested at least 7-10 days prior to pick-up to allow material to arrive at the pick-up location of your choice.
- Requests for multiple copies of a title can be filled based on demand and availability.
Note: request at least 1 month in advance for class set. - Hot topics and seasonal materials are always in demand and may be limited. Please plan accordingly.

Digital Books
Animated, talking picture books that teach kids the joy of reading in a format they’ll love.
Stream movie, music, and more through Hoopla.
Borrow and read ebooks and audiobooks with your library card.
Special Collections
Includes two pairs of binoculars, one adult, one child; birding field guides, and local park maps.
Databases
Tutor.com connects students in kindergarten through 12th grade with expert tutors, giving them access to one-on-one homework help.
Over 3,900 videos covering K-12 math, science topics such as biology, chemistry, physics, and the humanities.
General reference including a dictionary, atlas, and an online version of the popular reference book set.
